LOT 3 - Samantha Parkington. Samantha is one of Pleasant Company’s first-four original American Girl Dolls. She stands 18 inches tall and wears her original period clothing. She made her debut in 1986. At the turn of the 20th century, she is an orphan and goes to live with her grandmother in upstate New York. Jip, her dog accompanies Samantha. She has been maintained exclusively for display purposes behind glass in a smoke-free environment and she has not been used for play. Samantha comes complete with all her accessories including “Jip”, along with the book, “Meet Samantha” in her original box. Her doll stand is packed separately.
